We spent the day at Epcot and ate a late lunch in "Germany".

Two years earlier, we spent my birthday in California - Part of it with my Friend Don from Gainesville in Florida.

Don was also in a group called the Eagles and is most famous for writing the music for "Hotel California". And he uses "Joe B" brand guitar picks. Great choice!

Me and my friend Bernie from Nashville.

Bernie Leadon from that li'l ol' country band called The Eagles. He likes to play guitar and banjo. You can hear him sing and play on "Eagles", "Desperado", "On The Border", "One of These Nights" and the biggest selling album in American history "The Eagles - Their Greatest Hits 1971 to 1976".

He wrote an instrumental called "Journey of the Sorceror" which was used as the theme tune for "Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and you should check out his solo CD "Mirror".

He's a really nice guy - Made a special journey to our hotel just to visit us.

Drive to Orlando was interesting...

75% of all accidents are caused by cars crashing into slime because the driver was distracted by road side advertising. Make sure this doesn't happen to you by looking through the front windscreen and applying pressure to your brakes now! YIKES!

Apartment in Orlando is very luxurious. Bedroom with Queen bed and sofa bed for El and Abbie and they have their own bathroom. In main living area there is a laundry room, a kitchen with everything you need including a big American fridge and breakfast bar, dining table and chairs, 6 seater sofa of which the three seater converts into a bed for Jen, a balcony then the master bedroom. It has a King bed, a massive jacuzzi and a separate shower room!

Deerfield Beach

Nice room at the Embassy Suites - On the sixth floor with just a small access road separating us from the beach. Living area on the left with dining table and chairs, sofa bed and TV for Jen and she also has her own bathroom. Bedroom on the right-hand-side with 2 queen beds. Abbie will be living on the balcony!

Safe Journey

Arrived Miami after a very long flight. Picked up car and drove 50+ miles to Embassy Suites right on Deerfield beach (Wednesday). Drove to Oralndo (about 200 miles) on Thursday and we're staying at Marriott Cypress Harbour. Very luxurious.

Friday (today) I'm eating cinamon rolls for breakfast then we're off out to pick up our Disney tickets then make our way to Harry Potter Land.
